The bike tour will start from Loc. Il Castagno, Firenze, parking area in front of the Osteria Il Castagno, at 10 am. After a brief explanation on e-bike use, we will begin our bike ride along the Tuscan landscapes. The Tuscany bike tour will begin by following a route to a breathtaking winery near Volterra where, in a sustainable way, you will enjoy this wonderful area of Tuscany by bike. Once we arrive at the main entrance gate, we will enter the winery following the country road all surrounded by vineyards and an enchanting 360-degree view of Volterra. We will reach the winery by bicycle to meet the staff who will tell us about the winery, one of the best contemporary wineries in Tuscany producing exceptional, award-winning wines that embody the magnificent character of this ancient land. The winery combines the best of traditional winemaking techniques with state-of-the-art technology. The staff, with their passion for organic and sustainable vineyard work to produce high quality wines and olive oil from their unique terroir of Volterra in the heart of Tuscany, will take you through a tour of the magnificent cellars and production. They will then present their elegant and wild wines along with wine and local delicacies of the area from selected producers of cheeses, cut meats, breads and their wonderful olive oil. After our exciting food and wine experience we will start our bike tour again to reach back the meeting point Loc. Il Castagno.
