BIKE TOUR DETAILS

The bike tour will start at 10:30 am from the Peccioli near Volterra and San Gimignano. After a brief explanation on e-bike use, we will begin our bike tour along the Tuscan landscapes. The Tuscany bike tour will follow typical Tuscan villages to take beautiful photos of vineyards, olive groves and beautiful bike roads.

During the e-bike cycling tour of Tuscany, we will stop for an incredible pizza lesson at our best selected organic farm on the Tuscan hilltop. After a brief introduction, don your cute souvenir apron and start learning how to prepare the wood-fired oven and then bake your own pizza.

You’ll start mixing water, flour, sourdough, salt…get your hands ready to work on the dough! While waiting to shape your dough, think about the produce you will want to put in and follow the chef to the garden to select seasonal produce that you will then use to customize your pizza.

But don’t forget that you are in Tuscany…so why not take the opportunity to get the chef’s recommendation for a recipe for “schiacciata all’olio” the typical Tuscan bread crush with olive oil from the farm? AND THAT’S NOT ALL!!!!!!!! You’ll be able to bake your pizza in the wood-fired oven like a professional pizzaiolo!

At the end of the Tuscan pizza-making course , we will all have lunch together with an appetizer and prepared pizzas to enjoy with the farm’s wine or craft beer. We will also be happy to provide you with a printed recipe that you can use to enjoy being a “Tuscan pizzaiolo” even when you return home! The bike tour will start from the bike shop in Peccioli at 10,30 a.m.. After a short explanation of the e-bike use, we’ll start our riding by bike along the Tuscany landscapes. The tuscany bike tour will follow typical Tuscany villages for taking amazing pictures of vineyards, olive groves and stunning bike roads.

During the Tuscany cycling tour by e-bike we will stop for an amazing pizza making class on our best selected organic farm on Tuscany top hill. After a short presentation, put on your nice souvenir apron and start learning how to prepare the wood-fired oven for then cooking your pizza.

You will start to knead water, flour, sourdough, salt … prepare your hands to work on the knead! Waiting to give your knead the shape, think about the products you wish to put on and follow the chef to the vegetable garden to select the seasonal products which you will then use to personalize your pizza.

But don’t forget you are in Tuscany…so why don’t you take the occasion to catch from the chef the recipe of the typical “schiacciata all’olio” the typical Tuscany crushed bread with the farm’s olive oil ?
